I swear everyone has a photo of their mother wiedling a large knife. My favourite “mum knife photo” is one where she’s cleaning it and has a really menacing look on her face, I should dig it out!

In my period survival pack would be this thing from John Lewis:
http://www.johnlewis.com/230631191/Product.aspx, some KitKat Chunkies, my brother’s old Screwfix fleece (warmest and softest fleece EVER), a copy of Withnail and I, Boots painkillers (16p what a bargain!) annnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnd the boyfriend’s hands (not too fussed about the body at this stage) for lovely massages.

Actually, chuck the body in too because eye candy can work wonders when the monthly demon comes by.

My survival kit for on the go would include Feminax, Heat patches so I can stick them onto my tummy and a bar of chocolate.

My kit for home would include a fluffy bathrobe, a biiig duvet, a pizza from my local pizza hut, a box of tissues and a soppy dvd such as the notebook.

A bottle of Tia Maria, a few cartons of Orange Juice… a telephone with my fav takeaway on SpeedDial 1, my laptop and my b/f’s credit card. Tada!!!

Hmmm…
For pain – paracetemol, no co-codamol, chocolate and a hot water bottle

For Sadness – Chocolate and a stack of DVD’s, must be either super weepy in style of ET/Steel Magnolias, or just plain scary in vein of Tarantino, Seven and Silence of the Lambs, plus some chocolate

For Comfort – My oldest grey, most comfy and washed pair of pants (I know how to turn men on!), a bar of chocolate and my fleecy PJ’s primark specials, but they are loved)

For the Moods/homicidal ideation – Cake, preferably chocolate flavour, a set of darts and a dartboard featuring the faces of various smugly and effortlessley thin and beautiful women – Angelina Jolie, watch out!
