NYX Round Lipsticks – Swatches

Posted by Lipglossiping On October - 19 - 2009

I bought 4 more NYX Round Lipsticks to add to my collection…

nyxlipsticks

Tea Rose: Medium/Dark Rosey Pink

Strawberry Milk: As the name suggests, very pale milky pink

Thalia: Medium/Dark Nude

Indian Pink: Medium Pink with Gold flashes

Wear on these aren’t fantastic, they don’t last much after a cup of tea, but they’re so easy to  reapply and very well pigmented for the price.

And finally… Nyx Round Lipgloss in Sorbet. Non-sticky, fairly sheer with a subtle hint of sparkle.

I’m really pleased with the lip products… my favourite is Thalia or Tea Rose.  I adore Indian Pink, it’s so unusual but it’s a little warm toned against my skin.  Strawberry Milk is gorgeous too, but I need to find a way to wear it that doesn’t remind me of Magda from There’s Something About Mary.

What are your favourite NYX Round Lipsticks?

NYX is such a good brand… they’re a. affordable and b. have pretty solid prods. The eyeshadow trio in nudes and the single eyeshadow (in a tawny shade) both made it around the world with me. I wish I had one of these too… Thalia or Tea Rose for a nude lip.

Oooh, Thalia looks like it is a “my lips but better” shade for me.

My mum is going to visit my grandmother in America soon and I’ve made her a pretty comprehensive list of stuff to buy me and the more blogs I read, the more I want.

This is of course, totally your fault, not mine because I can’t exercise any self control

  6. Hey Eliza, Thalia seems to be a universally admired shade doesn’t it?

@Jo – I’d love to wear warmer colours like that, I’ve heard great things about Orange Soda too!

  7. @Jessica – 100% agreed! Would love to know the name of that single eyeshadow if you get back to this? Tea Rose is probably a touch too pink for a nude lip… but Thalia is perfect!

You can get NYX pratically on tap now you’re in the US!

i love nyx lipsticks so much, those colours all look really nice on you and i love the gloss! My fave at the moment is a combo…mac myth with one swipe of nyx round l/s in georgia, then one swipe of margerita then some gloss on top…such a nice cotton candy pink…but i am thinking that tea rose and some gloss cud achieve the same thing lol…i’m also loving CIRCE!
