January Essentials – Philip Kingsley Elasticizer

Posted by Lipglossiping On January - 11 - 2010

In this god-forsaken current climate that we’re all (not) enjoying, my hair is taking a bit of a beating.  Moving from centrally heated houses to the Arctic outdoors and back again is doing absolutely nothing to improve the state of my locks which are looking and feeling dry and lifeless.

Enter the iconic British product that is Philip Kingsley’s Elasticizer…

They say:

This great, highly concentrated product is designed to smooth your hair, leaving it incredibly smooth and supple.

It’s super moisturising and highly concentrated, smoothing each strand to incredible silkiness. Its elasticising effect improves suppleness, stretchability, strength and shine whilst leaving your hair softer, less brittle, beautifully manageable and lustrous.

I say, yes please!

Any product that promises to make my hair look glossier than the latest British Vogue is a must-try in my books.

Available from BeautyBay and priced at £19.49 for 150ml

are we going to get a full review on it soon?
    sounds amazing!
    xx

    • @desiiGirl87 – you are indeedy, I wish I was a bit more aufait with the ins and outs of haircare… as it stands, you’ll get a “it don’t do nothink…” or “oooh hair’s gone silky” – all very technical 😉

My pot’s at home though… so I gotta wait ’til Monday before I can slather myself in it. :(

i have a very good friend that goes to a very posh salon in kings rd and they have her hooked on this! they even let hear sneakily take her own tub of it in and give her the treatment without charging her loads as they’re so into it!!!

  3. @Rebecca – Ooooh you’re making me very excited to try it!!

  4. Redtiger21 says:

Looks nice!! I unfortunately have manky oily hair and so i can’t use anything that looks remotely luxurious….sniff..:(

  5. Janie says:

My hair is so over processed I actually use the Extreme Version of this.
I have been known to leave it on for over an hour, and my hair is like silk when rinsing.

Be warned though you really do need to give it a good shampoo to get rid of the product or you’ll end up with a greasy scalp!

Looking forward to the review x

This stuff is like magic! First bought it from QVC about a year ago and have repurchased a couple of times since (though you can get it in my local John Lewis store now too – and without the ridiculous QVC P&P!). Makes a huge difference to the condition and texture of my heavily highlighted shoulder length hair. Love it.
