My friend also has a macaron business locally, you made me crave for hers ^v^ Her product’s brand name is Empire. She bakes hers daily at home in batches, her Chinese husband helps her produce in bulk ^v^

These are so pretty, I want to sit on them, if I were small enough hahaha!

Nom!! I’m jealous — not only do your photos look tasty, they’re gorgeous! I don’t know if I’d ever be able to bring myself to eat anything packaged that cutely… might just stare at ’em forever instead 😛

  8. Joy says:

YUM! I love macarons. I think I spy lemon and rose ones among your selection – So good! 🙂

  9. These macaroons look so yummy and cute! The interesting part is that I have no idea how they actually taste. It’s nearly impossible to find them here in Brazil. Maybe I should hunt down a recipe and try to make some myself…

The best Macaron photos I’ve seen yet! Have you read a Blog called “Paris Breakfasts”? She’s obsessed with them!

BTW, I’ve been lurking and reading for a few weeks now, I’m really enjoying your posts. Keep up the good work 🙂

Honestly, macarons remind me of that one episode where Spongebob invents colored Krabby Patties. xD

    hi!
I bake macaron myself and if you are a macaron addict, you might want to try Pierre Hermé (at selfridge’s) macarons. They are so much better than the Ladurée! Parole de frenchie! The “ganache ” (the cream inside) has much more flavour and the “coques” (the two parts around the cream) are incredible.
    Enjoy!
    Stéphanie

Stephanie is absolutely correct, Pierre Herme are far superior to Laduree. Though the Laduree boxes are irresistable!
