SpaRitual: Native Rock NOTD

Posted by Lipglossiping On June - 23 - 2011

The other polish I received from their Summer 2011 collection is this muted “grurple” called Native Rock, it’s somehow softer than any of the other shades of this type that I own.  It’s almost whimsical and ethereal, tres beautiful.

I think it may have a bit too much grey in it for some skintones to wear with success but I’m not complaining on mine!  The above photo shows two coats and although it looked like complete coverage… with hindsight, I think I could have gone for a third.  The photo shows it looking just a little thin in places.

Application was dreamy and longevity average.  Another solid release from SpaRitual.

SpaRitual nail polishes (£8.50) are available to purchase directly from the SpaRitual website and spas/salons.

It’s pretty but it’s nothing new. I don’t have any SpaRitual because none of their stuff shouts at me….

Maybe one day they’ll produce a knock-out punch.

Just the colour I’m drawn to! I suppose it’s not super unique though.

  3. Julia says:

It reminds me of Estee’s surreal violet :)

  4. I love the greyed-lilac look. The only Spa Ritual nail polish I have is Kiss the Cook, but I’d like to get more.

  5. Leah says:

It looks great. I’d buy it :)

Oh my goodness, I want this soooo badly. <3 You have such beautiful hands. Was that a creepy thing to say? xP

  8. I love how purple this is! Such a gorgeous greyed shade! Great post!

  9. Meeta says:

This is lovely, it reminds me of Beauty UK Smokey Lilac.

  10. Krystal says:

Your manicures are always so pristine looking. How do you make the area around your cuticles look so neat?

  11. Eden-Avalon says:

I’m definitely a fan of this particular lavender/lilac shade.

  12. Gauri says:

So cute!! I like gray nail polishes 😀

  13. Kat says:

I love grey polishes, but I think that the lavender might be what makes it so difficult to wear. Personally, I know that I can wear a wide variety of grey colors, but I have never found a good lilac shade. It does look amazing on you, and you have the most perfect nails/cuticles. I haven’t searched your entire blog, but I would love it if you did a post on how you manage to get your nails so long, perfectly shaped and with such tidy cuticles. (I would also be completely open to a link if I have managed to be completely ignorant, and I apologize for not googling harder.)

  14. Thanks for making me spend more money.

  15. Jen W says:

really beautiful. I can imagine this being flattering on a wide variety of skin tones- all the light lilacky polishes I own look too pastel on me, I think I need to make this one mine!

  16. liloo says:

your first sentence summarised exactly how i feel about this polish. just too much grey, it needs lightening up xx

  17. Caitlyn says:

very nice color, I bought this one as well :)
Still thinking about Pebbles, though, I like darks, but this one, I’m just not sure about.
