My favourite is invariably something chocolate-y, rich and decadent like a Devil’s Food Cake! I like to feel my pudding coat my mouth, I wanna taste those calories man!

Seriously though, it has to be my mammy’s honey cake. Because it’s something I don’t get to eat very often now that I live 3 hrs flight away, and also because it reminds me of my childhood. It’s like a moment in Ratatouille when food critic eats a spoonful of food and is automatically transported back into his childood. I’m actually drooling now – pass me the spoon and a jar of Nutella ASAP 🙂
My favorite are my homemade blondies with dark chocolate chips. They’re just so perfectly gooey, not too sweet and great with some vanilla ice cream!

I love chocolate cake and I’m yet to find my favourite recipe. But I think that what I could eat everyday is crêpes. With Nutella, brown sugar, ice cream, jam, fried banana or apples either way I’ll love it and devour quickly. There are so many combinations,I’m drooling already.

My favorite dessert has to be cheesecake. I love chocolate. I love unique mountains of sugary concoctions, but I always, always order the cheesecake. That way, I can have my cake and eat it too because cheesecake in restaurants always has chocolate drizzled on it or something equally delicious!

My favourite dessert? Can I say everything sweet? haha. But If I have to choose, I’d say either bread pudding or waffle and ice cream. Both of them are associated with some memories. Bread pudding is a childhood warm comfort food, and waffle and ice cream is from my uni days!

My favorite dessert or sweet thing is a zeppoli (Italian fried dough). But, it’s such a pain to make that I’ll settle for the fried dough at the State Fair – so long as it was just pulled from the fryer and dusted with powdered sugar.
My favorite dessert is either something with marzipan or something really chocolatey. It depends on whether I want rich flavor or just something super sweet. I’m amused to read this because a couple days ago at a family dinner my cousin made creme brulee! We were all too impatient to let it set properly (an hour in the fridge? madness!) so it was more pudding-y and less custard-y, but it was still delicious!

My favorite dessert is a nice warm brownie, slightly crisped/charred at the edges (just the way I like to bake it) with a cup of spicy chai tea spiked cream and four strong pours of whiskey. It’s the perfect antidote to cold, rainy weather!

This may sound funny but, Artisan Fresh Triple Chocolate Bundt Cake from Sam’s Club…. it is so soft n fluffy n chocolatey! Every single bite is intense! :o)

Anything with salted caramel on top. As a youngster it was all “sweet gooey chocolate”, and now that I’m older it’s all “mmm…sweet *and* salty!” Really makes a treat that much more delicious.

Usually, when it is prepared as a birthday cake it also has some Lacasitos (the Spanish Smarties).
It’s my favourite dessert since I was a child, when my neighbour prepared it for my birthdays, and still now, I always ask her to prepare one every 21st of June! 😉

Oooh, that’s a tough one. It’s a toss-up between bread pudding and bananas foster. I’ve got to have some loyalty to our local New Orleans desserts 🙂
i have a sweet tooth, and i love all sorts of desserts that come in all sorts of flavours. but my biggest weakness is definitely strawberries coated in a layer of crystalized sugar. pure sweetness, pure afrodisiac! simply love the crunch from the crystals, the melting of the sugar on my tongue, and the sweet juices from the freshest strawberries!
Plain vanilla creme brulee is actually my favorite dessert – so perfect when the custard is still slightly chilled but the top is warm and crackly!

There is absolutely nothing like cracking through the delicate eggshell-like crust of a perfect french macaron and then sinking your teeth into the delicious ganache-y center. Mmm…. I’m also a huge sucker for marzipan – heck, I’m a sucker for dessert in general!

I am a total sweets fan, even on Facebook 😀 My favourite dessert is so called Eis-Marillen Knödel! Hmmm, how can I describe it…Its an Vanilla Ice cream dumpling, with a apricot core, rolled in crushed hazelnuts and it is total heaven! It is sold in Tichy, a caffe in Vienna, I’m not even from Austria but the 4 hour drive is totally worth it! I found a cheap fake in our Slovenian stores, but its just not the same… :/

We have a restaurant in the US called Carrabba’s Italian Grill and they serve this AMAZING chocolate cake. Layer after sweet delicious fluffy layer of chocolate cake, chocolate mousse, chocolate cake, whipped cream, repeat, repeat again, topped with a decadent amount of chocolate sauce and chocolate shavings…It’s a chocolate lovers delight, followed by a chocolate coma. So worth it!
Schmoo Torte! It’s like angel food cake, whipped cream, and caramel, and it’s amazing! Not too heavy, and not too sweet, so I can trick myself into thinking it’s not so horrible…

But then I became lactoseintolerant and I couldn’t have my baby anymore. After a year of withdrawal, I have found my a new goodie in 70% chocolate with mint and salty crisps. I guess. *miss my whipped cream*
My favourite has to “Sheer-Korma”. It’s a delicacy in the East, especially made on festivals such as Eid. It’s a mixture of vermicelli in milk with a generous amount of almonds, pistachios, coconut and cream. Rich, tasty and delicious. 🙂

I must admit to having two: 1) Victoria Sponge. This is my go to cake when my mum asks me what I want as a birthday cake and the butter icing and jam combination is heavenlyyyyy
2) Ice cream with warm fruits (raspberries, forest fruits I think you call them) and a fruit sauce….nom. The combination between warm and cold is brilliant and it’s not doubly milky stuff (sometimes it’s a bit too filling if you have a chocolate sauche with ice cream) and as I said, delicious!
When you said dessert, a picture of a warm brownie ala mode with vanilla ice cream on top came to mind. I can just see my spoon dipping inside the brownie and hot fudge oozing out. It is hands down the most delicious the most stress relieving dessert in the universe 🙂 Nothing can beat chocolate with ice cream ! Nothing!

I love Creme Brulee I don’t know if I would say it’s my favourite but I do have it a lot. I’m pretty sure I had my first one in Paris which is quite cool seeing as I mostly ate pizza when I was there.

That’s a classical Austrian cake since 1800s! The basis is a chocolate cake, thinly coated by hand with apricot jam. The chocolate icing on top of it is what will kill your diet. 😀

I love this Gateau de Crepe that someone here locally in the Philippines bakes from home. It’s layer after layer of terribly thin delicate crepes stacked one after the other with a generous coatings of airy vanilla cream in between to form a 3″ high cake, your fork dives in sideways to slice and the crepe layers just give,and you get perfect a cut-away without resistance. The taste is light, sweet, creamy, and soft. I like mine chilled so that the cream in between the crepes is sweet and cold.

Now I’m hungry, have seven billion desserts on my mind AND miss my mum (who prefers making desserts to any other kind of cooking, and is AMAZING at it).
I think, possibly, my favourite could be this layered cake with whipped cream and chopped walnuts between the layers, and with coffee glaze and whole walnuts on top. It’s best on day two, as post-birthday breakfast, obviously. Also a favourite because I can actually make it, and it looks artful and complicated and makes my kitchen prowess seem impressive when it’s really not.

My absolute favourite dessert is warm flourless chocolate cake with a scoop of vanilla ice cream on top. It’s a no-frills sort of thing, it’s sinfully heavy, and it just hits the spot every single time! Puts a huge smile on my face as well. 🙂

Oh dear. You see, my favourite dessert _is_ creme brulee. Not many things beat that wonderfully smooth texture in the mouth with all the lovely flavours of vanilla and hints of egg, combined with crispy, crunchy, caramelized sugar on top. It’s just… _creme brulee_. <3

One of my favourite desserts is Chinese Egg Tarts. I’m in Wales so it’s pretty hard to come by, but the local Chinese restaurant freshly bakes these sunny yellow egg tarts every morning, and I always catch the scent of baking when I go past the kitchen.
The creamy sweet custard filling is very smooth and light, it contrasts amazingly with the flaky crisp tart case. It’s not too sweet, but its very flavourful. Every egg tart has a beautiful buttery aroma (which is quite unusual for an egg tart, right?).
I sound like an advert, but honestly, if I could find a way to let everyone taste one of their gorgeous egg tarts, I would!

Chocolate covered peanuts. Yeah I know, it’s a candy. Many probably consider it a snack, not a dessert. But I eat them almost every day after dinner.
There is just something so perfect about peanuts and chocolate. And when I’m in the mood for something creamy or cold? Not a big fan of Reeses candy but Reeses ice-cream bars are so good.
This is the most difficult choice I’ve had to make all day. I ADORE tiramisu. The contrast of cream, liqueur, espresso and a lush covering of cacao is heavenly. I’ve had buckets in Italy, and took a special trip to Baltimore just to buy some from the man who invented it. I only eat it when I know it’s made well. I’m exceedingly picky (cheesecake factory, stop serving it, you don’t know what you’re doing!)
I also must add that I wish a mint ice cream IV drip existed.

My favourite dessert is mudpie mmmhhmmm don’t know exactly what it entails just cool whip and something with cruched up oreos oh my my, so yummy must get recipe from moms, have not thought about it in a looong time!
My favourite dessert is my fiance’s mum’s Monster Cookies. Fresh out of the oven, or reheated in the toaster oven. Mmmmmmmm.
Dessert is all I make, I swear. But, probably sticky date pudding with toffee sauce (and I always make them in individual servings so they’re super cute).
Special mention to puff pastry apple pie, pecan pie, and of course creme brulee made with half cream and half milk for the perfect consistency (and the cream has to come from my parents’ cows). And lemon yoghurt cake with ganache. And carrot cake … and pumpkin chocolate cake … and fondant. And fondue! Gah, too many.
There is this French restaurant near where I work that has the most amazing orange creme brulee. I do believe that is my #1 favorite dessert of all time. I was just telling some coworkers yesterday that if I had to select a “Last Meal Menu”, that creme brulee would be on the dessert list….and I’d want a double-size portion. 😀
My favorite dessert is, definitely, the Ispahan. It’s made by assembling rosewater macaron with rosewater buttercream, raspberries, and lychee. It is to die for.
My love for Ispahan prompted me to make ispahan-inspired sponge cake, with ground almonds and rosewater-raspberry whilled cream. <3
My favorite dessert is Ice cream… I could eat it day and night, all flavors possible, but stracciatella is my fsvourite 🙂
My favorite kind of dessert would be ice cream or frozen yogurt! Always classic vanilla, of course 🙂
Mine is ice cream 🙂 In terms of finishing off a meal, it’s so versatile. There are many flavours to choose from and you can have something creamy to round off a meal or something like a sorbet to end on a fresh note.
My favorite dessert is RED VELVET CUPCAKES! Not only is this dark red a trendy and chic favorite color of mine, it’s also the most delicious cake flavor ever. Iced with cream cheese frosting and I’m in heaven!

My favourite type of dessert would have to be creme brulee!
I love everything creamy and I love how creme brulee has different layers to it (the hard, crunchy sugared top, followed by the thick, creamy body. So simple but amazing! 🙂
Creme brulee for the burnt taste and brownie for being sooo rich and chocolate-y!

What ISN’T my favorite? For home-made, I love cookies — peanut butter, chocolate chip or my special Autumn Spice cookies (with dried cherries in them). I love cakes with buttercream frosting and cupcakes. Cheesecake, too. Brownies!
For store-bought goodies I love Swedish Fish, Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups, Flake Bars, Hob Knobs (these latter two I get at an import shop!) and Smarties.
oh and ice cream. My favorite being Blue Belle Pineapple Upside Down Cake ice cream. Too bad they discontinued it. *sadface* Blue Belle puts Ben & Jerry’s to shame, it’s so good.
Brownies
I love chocolate brownies.
I love just about any dessert! I’m currently enjoying Blue Bell’s Banana Pudding ice cream – it’s heavenly! It’s even better than most banana puddings I’ve had.
Freshly baked chocolate chip cookies. Yum.
While I’m always down for anything rich and chocolate-y (cupcakes anyone?!?), there’s a small independent dairy company a hour or so from my hometown that makes hands down the BEST ice cream. Made on site with milk from their own cows, it is sooo good and creamy! haha As a kid I would beg my parents to stop on any road trip 🙂

My favorite dessert is key lime pie. UGH YUM. I actually hated lime and lemon-flavored desserts for the longest time, but now that I’ve decided they’re amazing I want to EAT THEM ALL.

My favorite would have to be peach cobbler, I love peaches plus when I eat peach cobbler I always add a scoop of vanilla ice cream, so you get the warm cobbler and the cool ice cream, the best combo!
My favorite dessert is definitely tiramisu! Sooo good.
Hands down, my favorite dessert is this pumpkin spice cupcake with cinnamon cream cheese frosting from this local cupcake truck. I could probably eat it for every meal for the rest of my life if I could!
My favorite dessert is triple layer chocolate cake – the bottom layer is devil’s food cake and it’s topped with layers of chocolate mousse and chocolate ganache.
