As part of my Dior haul, I also purchased the Dior Sparkling Liner in the Xmas ’09 LE Shade Sparkling Purple.
I actually had no intentions to pick this up until I swatched it on the stand… oh my.
It’s a beautifully iridescent purple liner with a brush that ensures a precision fine line. It’s massively pigmented and perfect for winter.
Look at that… it just glows and reminds me of stained glass. I’ve been pairing this up with grey shadows on my lids and have worn it once or twice on it’s own with lots of black mascara.
I’m so pleased I picked it up!
I think I paid around £20. Do you wear coloured liners? Any preferences or tips on shade selection for a chick with grey/green eyes?

Love it! I wonder if there is a respectable dupe out there for it…I would rather try a sparkly eyeliner (liquid) that is a bit cheaper before going straight to Dior.

!!! That looks absolutely divine — I wish Dior liners weren’t so expensive! I wonder if I could find a drugstore version… hmm. It’s a pretty unique colour, but I’m feeling the urge to hunt for a good dupe 😛

i skipped the liner because it has a brush for applicator. but now i looked at the colour closely, i think i may want it!
that single e/s in silver is really awesome. i have tried it so many times at the store that i almost got it. should i cave in?
Such a gorgeous colour! Just wish I could apply liner (of any kind!) but I would even spend that money just to draw it on my hand every now and then…!
I have green, brown and yellow eyes and its IMPOSSIBLE to find nice shades… i find one then its discontinued.
I think for green eyes ubran decay do some gorgeous colours – “midnight cowboy rides again” “YDK” “Twice baked” “half baked” but i only have them in the sustainable shadow box.
It also has a gorgeous black there too 🙂

This looks gorgeous– and without the disco ball effect too!
I have brown eyes and I find a few metallic shades from the Hard Candy collection in the US very flattering: “Praline”, a coppery brown, “Flip Side”, a gorgeous navy, and “Sugar Plum”, a deep purple. FS looks best with my eyes but I’d go for SP for hazel eyes or there’s light teal liner that would look pretty with grey eyes.
Wow, that sounded like a rant. Whoops.
*sigh*
So beautiful. I think we need to spend another day swooning over Dior.

Ooh ooh ooh!!! That is sooo pretty! I love coloured liners- i find they’re great when you can’t be bothered with a oad of eyeshadow but still want colour. Purple is great for greeny eyes, so they say 🙂
