Can’t. stop. buying. these. lipsticks.
Seriously, at under £2 a pop you can afford to experiment, and although the Cherry Culture swatches are pretty naff… Google is your friend.
I bought 3 more with my last haul. Actually, I think I bought 5… but 2 were Ronald McDonald reds so I gave them to someone who would look less like a serial killer in them.
These are the 3 I kept:

NYX Paris is my favourite, it’s a perfect pink for me… not too warm, not too cool. Love it! It’s glossy and smooth and doesn’t highlight my sore bits.
NYX B52 is a touch warm for me, but it’s not too bad. Doesn’t look much like I expected it to, it’s a little darker on my skintone than I thought it would be. Texture is great though.
I don’t understand this pout… is it even a pout? What AM I doing? Anyway… ignoring the stupid expression, NYX Power is akin to Revlon’s Pink Pout but without the dryness. It’s not a total dupe, but it’s the nearest I’ve found for my skintone (yes, I know MAC Angel is a well-known dupe, but not on me).
I have alist of these to get but the cheeryculture swatches worry me!! Will be googling for swatches. I just wish we could buy them over here in superdrug/boots. Harrods does NOT count!!!! I like to swatch before buying.
I might add paris and power to the list now!!

Ohhh Paris is lovely!!
If you think that the B52 looks too dark then try Benefit Lip Plump before you apply. It takes all the colour out of your lips and I find that it helps me wear shades that otherwise would be too dark.

These all look really great on you! I was thinking about getting power with the hopes of it being a milky pale pink/lavender color, but from your swatch I guess it isn’t what I thought! Thanks for posting these

Paris suits you very well and is such a pretty pink shade! NYX is not available in Malaysia and the only way I can obtain them is via e-retailers. I’ve been seeing this brand on nearly every beauty blog though so maybe it’s time I order something

I’ve got a NYX lipstick in Darling and it just doesn’t suit me, it’s faaaar too warm/dark. I’ve come to the conclusion that lipstick just isn’t me. I did like the texture of the NYX lipstick but I looked on blogs and forums and I could never find two swatches that were the same

Ooh Paris looks lovely on you!!! I reckon i’d suit that, as I don’t like anything specificaly warm or cool on me, just mid-toned looks best. I got Tea Rose recently, i really like that one too. How do you find the longevity?

ive spent 2 days searching ebay for swatches of all of Nyx lipsticks so id know what ones id like to buy. your blog was invaluable!
Wish Cherry Culture etc would sort out their swatches.

@Redtiger21 – Longevity isn’t too bad considering I find them quite creamy. They won’t last through lunch, but they do last through a couple of cups of tea… they don’t fade patchy either. x
