A lovely greyed-out lavender. It’s one of them dirty colours… I love me a bit of grunge.
This is my first Orly polish and I’m torn. I found the formula easy to work with… a little thin, but I don’t mind thin polishes as long as they dry quickly and evenly, which this did. The above shows 4 coats… 1 more than I would have preferred… but it’s ok.
However, I dislike the brush intensly. It’s super thin and bendy. Maybe I’ve been spoiled by the OPI Wide Brush that covers a nail in 3 clean strokes… this took about 6/7. I think I can live with it, but only because of the thin formula. Painting thicker polish with a brush that weedy would be a nightmare. Are most Orly polishes fairly thin?
Longevity has been fine… medium amount if tip wear, but no chips.
What do you think of the shade? Are you a fan of grungey colours?
It’s really pretty! I’ve seen this colour at work and been tempted. This sort of shade looks perfect with your skintone. I’m so jealous because cool shades don’t work for me,my medium gold-olive skin makes them look so cheap, like I used correction fluid :-/ I am a big fan of it on you.
i went to M&S and checked out their new range of varnishes, im currently sporting lilac (maybe not grey enough as your Orly one) however it was £2.50 and well on rather well. Def think you should check it out if you have time 🙂

That looks a lovely colour on your nails, it probably wouldn’t suit most people though.
This looks great on you! Guess that means I should give it a try since I’m equally as pale. =p
I keep reading Orly’s name as “O Rly??” Hehe. Lovely lovely colour – I loves me a bit of grunge too 😉 Was thinking of buying an Orly polish since my nails are successfully growing out for once! But the thin brush part you mentioned puts me right off. I’ll shop around 😉
Beautiful colour, I’d love to try this. Although 4 coats it’s quite a lot since I’m not a very patient type of person and usually when I paint my nails I get the sudden urge to scratch my head, skin, go to the loo etc! Does this happen only to me???! LOL!
That’s a gorgeous colour, but 4 coats is far too much hassle for me to bother with personally!!
I love colors like this one! I’d be a bit put off by having to use 4 coats however it is really pretty. How strange is it that I was wearing Orly Enchanted Forest not 2 days ago and yet I can’t really remember how it applied. I think I found it ok but not great. Couldn’t tell you if it felt thin or not. I do recall thinking when I redid my nails last night with a different polish that I liked the application of this one much better.

I think I’m going to have to purchase it even if it’s crap to apply… I’m loving those sort of muddy dusky purples… I’m currently wearing O.P.I Parlez-vous OPI? which is in the same family but more purple & darker… Only 2 coats I would recommend!
