I bought a green eyeshadow. Not just any green eyeshadow, an expensive green eyeshadow. Not just any expensive green eyeshadow, but a pale green expensive eyeshadow. With frost.
I tried it on. It made my eyelids glow. Glow like they were from 1982.
Sigh.
Have you made any compulsive and slightly ridiculous purchases lately?

I have a Chanel Seafoam Green eyeliner that would look awesome with that eyeshadow.
I think it’s a pretty color, it’s workable, but you might want something darker in the crease, and just use this color as a lid shade.
That’s what I think anyhow.

I bought a blush. It was cheap, and a pretty peachy-pink color. I love the color and the texture.
However, I have 239487945 blushes of the same color already.
What was I thinking????

Oh I love it! So much that I want to go out and buy it. I think Harvey Nichols is the only place that does it around here…maybe I should take a trip! Probably a bit expensive for my current budget but hey, I can drool
I’ll look out for it if you do a blogsale!

*sigh* too many mistakes to mention, mostly mattifying primers which make my nose look like a strawberry, y’know that seedy bigh-pored-huge-blackhead look….nice!

Dude, you have no idea how many crazy eyeshadows purchase I’ve done! haha!
Anyway, I think you might make this one work as an inner corner highlight with soft browns on the rest of the eyes – like on this look I just saw: http://l1lmamaj.blogspot.com/2010/08/fotd-aqua-eyeshadow.html
Hope this helps

Is it wrong then that I wear green eyeshadow every day? It’s been my favourite shade since college. *Reconsiders entire life*

Oooh, no! You’ve got fair hair and probably the kind of skintone that can carry it off.
Green has always been a colour I need to avoid, but one I’m always drawn to! x

Don’t worry, it’s fixable! Try combining it with a plum color in the crease a la NARS Habanera. I just did a FOTD with Habanera yesterday and I think it looked nice! Our coloring is vaguely similar (pale with dark hair), so maybe it’ll work for you?

haha I have so many eyeshadows which i’m never going to wear, most of them were bought when I was younger because they were nice colours, I never actually though about what they’d look like on my eyes!

You could use it as part of a green smoky eye?

I love that! It’s like my beloved Juxt LOL I’m a sucker for green eyeshadow, Humid, Juxt & Bio Green are my absolute faves. I guess the only things I regret are anything I’ve ever bought from Goss… I get caught up in the fact hundreds of other girls want the swag and I comment straight away without checking if its my shade =0/ such a douche!

Maybe you can use it on your inner tear duct?

I have that one, or a very similar shade! I love it! It looks lovely with a deep green liner (Bobbi Brown Ivy gel liner or MAC Tarnish kohl), and coral cheeks and lips. Hot pink looks pretty with it too so long as you keep the textures sheer.
But aren’t Shu shadows just the business, quality-wise? Like velvet.
