This is another from Mavala’s recently released Mystic Collection that I was sent last month.
Mavala Black Velvet is a dark purple-black with a very subtle shimmer which unfortunately is more apparent in the bottle than on the nail.

I’m in two minds about this collection. So far, I like how they look individually… but now my nails are getting a bit longer, I think they’re a touch vampy for me. If you have short, well-groomed nails, this would be a great collection for you.
I have two more to show you and I’m gonna hurry them the hell up, because Spring is nearly upon us… and if you give a fig about staying on trend, you might not want to see them ’till next Winter!

Hmm I feel like I either want it to be more purple or more black not this…limbo…sort of colour…
That is one pretty colour and I think it does look good on longer nails too 🙂 When I was a teen the only nailpolish I used was Mavalas Black creme, at that time it was the only black nailpolish you could find in my town and more often it was always out of stock so you had to rund around the stores to find that one last bottle. Also that black is one of the reasons why I novadays don’t usually buy Mavala anymore, the black was horibble. Godd coverage? Yes. Nice texture? Yes. But after a few uses the polish was all thick and goopy and all though that was the only polish I used back then I still never finished one bottle but always had to throw it away when it was still half full. Ofc back then I didn’t know about thinners.. But I’m still traumatised for life and only buy Mavala when I see and extraordinary colour (and that doesn’t happen often).
It’s a nice shade, but it’s a little flat, i sort of want it to be a shimmer finish.
now THAT is a beautiful colour IMO
