I really love your eyes in this, I’ve been neglecting my AIW palette the last couple of weeks and I’ve been buying far more many lip colours that have taken my interest instead- you’ve reminded me to go back to playing with eye colours as well.

Oh, this is so pretty!! And I think you *should* walk around with your eyes shut, if your makeup’s this pretty 😉 (Kidding! Then we wouldn’t be able to see those perfect peepers of yours, and that would be very disappointing.)

Same problem here! Hooded eyes are not fun in makeup. I noticed from doing my makeup and then non-hooded eyes friend’s makeup, that having hooded deep set eyes seem to give me a lot more space and room to do studd and tus I can have more colors and more space to blend, but that the end of day you barely even see it! Grrr…. Oh well. Least I’m not alone!

Very pretty! I haven’t used my Alice palette despite spending days on debenhams.com to snatch one (or two ;)), but I will asap as you’ve really inspired me to do something with it!
As for eyes, I have the same problem, so usually do higher crease and pack lots of colours on. Oh and blink lots! 😉
My eyelids have been “hooded” (I hate that term… it sounds like my eyes are in hiding or otherwise up to no good) since the day I was born. The best eye makeup advice I ever got was to take my colour up a little bit higher so it looks more obvious on open eyes. Gossmakeupartist on YouTube has a great tutorial on how to do makeup that shows on a hooded eye; I love his techniques and get compliments every time I try one out, not to mention he’s a total babe. It takes a real man to be sexy in a purple smokey eye! You should check out some of his video tutorials if you don’t like the way your makeup “disappears” with your eyes open. Incidentally though, it’s not so bad… my entire upper lid disappears when my eyes are open, to the point that if I’m wearing eyeliner, you can’t even see that!
