The Smashbox Muse palette is from the 2009 Spring Collection.
10 positively creamy shades… pastels on top, stronger shades on the bottom.
The brush that it comes with is surprisingly soft and useable… the top row shades are gentle and spring-like, whilst the others comple the more dramatic pairing.

Do I wear pastels? No.
Do I want to wear pastels? Yes.
I find it hard to get the pastel balance right and have come across v. few (practically none) which actually come out pastelly on my skin.
I have to use primer under mine to get any colour and and primer tends to turn the minty colours white which is not good but I’m trying to find some which I can wear for the summer.
Yeah, I take it for granted that pastels wear well on my skintone. I don’t generally love em though. Not as much as the jewel shades that look better on darker tones.
