So, who’s for yellow nails this Summer?
Every year, the celebs get their banana polishes out of storage to threaten us with canary tips but this year… we’re in for some serious yellow fever!

We all knew we were in for a trend when we saw Chanel’s upcoming Mimosa polish set to launch next month but Mimosa is just the tip of the yellow-coloured iceberg!

I have a yellow polish from Rimmel but it takes about 5 coats to get rid of major streaks and even then it’s not perfect. 🙁
I love bright coloured nails but I need to get out the fake tan first! I’m pastey-pale.
Love the idea of yellow polish, especially the banana coloured ones but not sure if I’ll be able to pull it off.

Mimosa is to die for, I have seen it on Lisa Eldridge in a few of her recent videos and Chanel have managed to get the perfect yellow colour, cannot wait for it!

I have the yellow from Barry M because it’s my favourite shade of yellow ever, but it stains my nails something awful, even with a base coat. So I may check out the Deborah Lippman one. I’m not a fan of pastel yellow though.
I don’t really like the NARS polish formula, but the Lippmann polish? DROOL!
After reading your post I just applied my Nubar Hot Yellow polish..
However I hate how these sort of colours are extremely sheer, streaky and takes forever to dry 😐

AGHHHH I hate yellow polish, it looks like nail fungus. A friend of mine wore sheer banana yellow polish at the beach once, and it seriously looked like she was diseased. That’s all I think of when I see yellow nail polish.
Ugh no! That shade of yellow does not suit me at all! Looks fabulous on some other people though.
Yep I did Barry M’s no 307 at the weekend. My hubby (who is admittedly colour blind) asked me very suspiciously about my bright green nails.
I wore yellow about 2 weeks ago and it was awful not only did it not go with my skin tone but it stained my nails with the yellow tinge (wore base coat too). I will let everyone else wear the yellow wile I enjoy my holographic addiction. :p
i m so excited! yellow is my favorite color! they do tend to be very streaky and transparent though … now i m tempted to try the lippman one!
I like yellow polish…on other people. I look like a scary banana hands woman! I have one yellow pastel polish which isn’t too scary, but I tend to just use it for nail art rather than a whole manicure. A bit too scary for me! 🙂 x
I’m obsessed with yellow! My nails are always short, so they never seem to banana-like… but I won’t put yellow polish on my toes haha. I just bought China Glaze Yellow Polka Dot Bikini, and I CANNOT WAIT to try it out 🙂
