Another Mavala NOTD, and my favourite shade so far… Magnolia
Of course, the connotations of Magnolia are dull, dull, dull but I love how gentle this is, perhaps it’s a little ‘safe’ for most – but I think it’s feminine, soft and sophisticated with it’s satin finish.
As with the other Mavala shades I’ve tried, this applies beautifully. 1 coat and this would make a lovely french manicure application, 2 or more to build up on opacity. I think this was 3 coats. A nice smooth fairly thin formula (which I love) and quick drying (but not so quick that I can’t go over with a couple of strokes to tidy up my application).
This is love, what shade shall I go for next?!
As an aside, you may notice that my cuticles are looking a little dry (well, you probably won’t notice – but they are!) Any recommendations for something I don’t have to apply a 100 times a day to keep them moisturised?
That is a lovely color. I don’t think we have that brand here in the US. I removed my acrylics, so I am loving nail polish posts these days!!!

That is a beautiful shade! It’s like a very feminine nude. I’ll defo be on the lookout for it.
Unfortunately my nails are always farirly dry so I can’t really help. Although maybe a good cuticle cream will have noticeable responses after a week or so? I’ve heard really good stuff about the one from Lush. & always remove varnish with remover that’s for moisture and has added vitamins and oils?

@Scarlett – glad you’re liking the polish posts. I’m a total newbie convert to polishes… shallow as it sounds, a pretty colour on my nails seems to brighten a dull day!
@Stephanie – I do love my nude shades, I have heard good things about the Lush Cuticle Cream… I’m going to definitely check it out next time I’m in town. Thanks for the rec!

My favorite nude from OPI has got to be Samoan Sand. ahaha
You could try CND cuticle oil, it has good reviews.
