Where I come from, we were always told Jesus brings the presents,and by the time we’d moved to England I’d already stopped believing 🙁 so I never got into Santa/Father Christmas thing… so I’m curious, why don’t you say Santa?
Santa is the American version, bit like Pierre Noel is the french version etc.
