Here’s that FOTD I promised showing the GOSH Smoky Eyes Palette I was sent.

Anyway, I was semi pleased that it wasn’t hugely pigmented as I find the Sleek MakeUP Graphite palette so hard to work with. Although I was unsure if I would get much payoff from that light grey (2nd from right) at all…
And I was right! (which makes a change).
I do really like this for a non-overpowering smoky eye. It feels more grown up, more genteel and sophisticated than the Sleek Graphite Palette. Unfortunately, I got nothing from that pale grey shade at all. I applied it in the crease and blended upwards but you just wouldn’t be able to tell.
I hereby class this a “nearly” palette… “nearly” good, but no cigar.
looking great! I like that the finish of the e/s looks more satiny rather than full on frost.

I’m glad I wasn’t able to get the Graphite palette from Sleek – while it is highly pigmented and wonderful, I wouldn’t able to work with it either with looking like I have either a. a black eye; b. decided to be goth for a day; or c. became a hooker. Too bad this palette isn’t brilliant.
Hmmm, whatever colour you did manage to get out of it DOES look good. I like the finish.

That looks extremely wearable. I’m glad I didn’t get the Graphite palette as well, I don’t think I would have had much use out of it. I could be persuaded with this one though…

Eee, I bought this and tried to do an EOTD with it but the photo was too hopeless to post – I need a rad camera like yours (and some natural light, I always end up doing EOTDs in the evening). I was disappointed in the pale shades too, as I was hoping for a solid white.
