What a strange little polish Butter London’s Victoriana (£10) is… it applied with an almost fibrous quality. If you can call that a quality. But what I will say is that on me… this manicure lasted 5 days before I saw any tip wear. Was I painting polish or carbon fibre?
The first coat was a hot mess because of the thick texture…. if you’re smart fngered and can cope with thick polishes, this may be a one-coat wonder for you. I needed a second to even out the edges and fill in the drag marks.
The muted green/blue tone looks soft against my skintone… in the picture above it’s a little brighter thanks to the sunlight, but it shows up the dense silver sparkle nicely. Removal was a little tedious but nothing major. Just hold the remover pad to the nail for a touch longer than normal before wiping clean. No need for foil or anything hardcore like that!
I was truly amazed by the 5 days of wear I got before noticing any flaws in it’s appearance.

Pretty! Don’t you find the box type lid annoying though? I’m all fingers and thumbs with anything but a nice cylindrical lid :/
The lid pulls off to reveal a cylindrical cap inside (like the Chanel polishes) xx

This is really pretty. Nothing lasts on me for 5 days, so doubt this would (maybe 2-3 if I’m very lucky), but it’s still gorgeous.

I’m not too big of a fan of green polishes but I am loving the packaging! Very contemporary =)
I tried this the other day. It went on pretty smooth in one coat and is wearing really nicely (no chips with Rimmel base coat and no top coat). But on me it looks like an industrial blue/grey, as opposed to the pretty blue/green I’ve seen in swatches like yours. Nice in its own way, but not sure it’s really my thing.
i’m having a love hate relationship with this. It came in a pack that let you choose the colour of the polish you got so obviously i dithered for 54574578 years trying to decide. Then i plumped for this one and immediately decided i didnt want that one (fickle much? yes.) so anyway it finally came and while i have re fell in love with the colour and application the wear for me is shite, literally less than 24 hours for massive tip wear and chipping. That said i do repell nail polish, mebbe give it another go with a good basecoat. so yea, i’m on the fence *waves*
