Deal Alert: Diego Dalla Palma Antiage Lipsticks HALF PRICE at

Posted by Lipglossiping On September - 1 - 2012

I spotted these Diego Dalla Palma Antiage Lipsticks on Tesco Direct last night, normal price £14, currently reduced to £7 each.  There are four shades available in the classic “my lip but better” shades.

The formula promises a moisturising finish with olive and jojoba oils offering hydration and hyaluronic acid spheres to work as a filler to give the appearance of fuller lips.

Have you tried the Diego Dalla Palma Antiage range before?

If the UK’s unseasonable weather has got you longing for distant climes, you may be finding it hard to part with your Thomas Cook brochure (remember when people actually used to go and pick up stacks of holiday brochures from the travel agents?!).  You might be planning your last minute package break in the sun, or looking forward to your meticulously planned road trip around the foothills of central Greece – either way, we could all do with saving some pennies on our holiday purchases couldn’t we?

I’ve got two deal alerts to tell you about today, the first one is from luxury flash sales website, Cocosa.

They’re currently offering a 50% discount on a selection of beauty brands including: Margaret Dabbs, St Tropez, Sachajuan, Rodial, Bite, Strivectin and This Works.  My picks of the sale are shown above – especially the St. Tropez set which delivers great value for money on a top-selling brand.  The Holiday Boutique sale runs until the 26th August… but the most popular items will sell out long before then.

I’ve also just got wind (I kinda want to leave that sentence right there) of another beauty deal from Cult Beauty who are doing a special GWP in the form of a “lucky dip” goody bag when you spend over £40 on the site.  And by “lucky dip”, I mean… only partially secretive because I can reveal, via the power of copy n’ paste that you’ll actually get:

Institut Esthederm Technology Cream (10ml)
Collin Micellar Radiance Cleansing Water (50ml)
d.j.v. Beautenizer Fiberwig LX Mascara

Paul Labrecque Daily Shampoo & Conditioner (30ml)
Philip B Russian Amber Imperial Shampoo & Conditioning Creme (15ml)

BECCA Resurfacing Primer (15ml)
DuWop Revolotion Bronzing Body Moisturiser (29.6ml)
Ultrasun Ultra Sensitive SPF 50 (15ml)

That’s non-too-shabby for a £40 order now is it?  While stocks last!

Happy shopping beauty fiends, I’m off to see a man about a washing machine, the glamour.

The beauty blogging world is buzzing with details of the new YSL Le Teint Touche Eclat foundation (currently available exclusively in Selfridges).  The foundation is touted to have built on the Touche Eclat luminising technology which has kept the infamous “clicky-pen” a bestseller for the past 20 years, providing a natural, radiant finish with impeccable brightening properties.

If you’re in the market for a new foundation (or even if you’re not!), take heed of this sampling offer, courtesy of the Yves Saint Laurent Facebook page.  Simply “like” the brand’s page and register your details to print a voucher that is redeemable for one 5ml sample available from all UK and Ireland YSL counters.

The full-size foundations roll-out to counters nationwide once the Selfridges exclusive finishes on the 9th July.  If you’re a tricky shade to match, it’s worth noting that Selfridges will be the only retailers to carry the full 22 shades.

Will you be trialling the new YSL Le Teint Touche Eclat foundation?

… this cracking Elemis deal pops up from

Priced at £75 – the set includes eight full-sized Elemis products (and not the stuff off the back of the shelf that no-one else wants either!):

Elemis Pro-Collagen Marine Cream 50ml
Elemis Tri-Enzyme Resurfacing Facial Wash 200ml
Elemis Exotic Cream Moisturising Mask 50ml
Elemis Exotic Frangipani Monoi Moisture Melt 100ml
Elemis Papaya Enzyme Peel 50ml
Elemis Sp@Home Skin Nourishing Milk Bath 400ml
Elemis Sp@Home Pro-Radiance Hand and Nail Cream 100ml

and just so that you can get away with the purchase….

Elemis Men Anti-Ageing Time Defence Wrinkle Delay 50ml

I’ve never seen quite such a value-for-money deal on the British brand, though obviously, the £75 outlay is still considerable.  However, if you’re looking to give your skincare routine a major overhaul for the Summer, this has your name written all over it.  I’d personally recommend applying (and sleeping in) the moisturising mask directly after removing the Papaye Enzyme Peel – I do this twice a week and it’s keeping my normally dry skin both well-exfoliated and moisturised.

I’d imagine stocks on this one to be pretty limited.

Deal Alert: 500 Boots Points (worth a fiver) for a £1 spend!

Posted by Lipglossiping On June - 13 - 2012

I know!  Right?!

But before you get all excited (as I did when I read about this), the offer is only available to new Boots Treat Street customers.  So, if like me, you’re already justifying your eBay addiction by reminding yourself that you earn Boots points with every purchase courtesy of Treat Street, this deal doesn’t have your name written on it.  The bastards.

If you’re new to the world of Boots Treat Street, there isn’t a better time to sign up.  Except for that time when I signed up and got £15 in Boots points (kerr-ching) via a Living Social deal.  Sorry, you’ve missed that boat and no-one likes a gloater.

So, what’s this Treat Street malarkey all about then?  Well, to put it simply… it’s the Boots Advantage Card system extended to other stores (but only online).  For example, you can’t walk in to Dixons brandishing your Boots card but you can click through to the Dixons website VIA the Boots Treat Street website and subsequently earn Boots points on any purchases.  Clear as mud?  Good.

As much as I hate installing crap on my computer, I must admit that the Boots Treat Street browser toolbar comes in quite handy.  It pops up whenever I’m on a website that participates in the scheme and reminds me to “log myself in” to the system before making my purchase, thus securing my Boots Advantage Card Points from the deal.

If you haven’t shopped via the Boots Treat Street website before, you’ll be wanting this code: WELCOME500 and these instructions on what to do next.

Happy points collecting!  Do you use Treat Street?  Tempted to sign up?

17 years ago, Liz Earle launched one of the UK’s most popular cleansing products and the brand haven’t looked back since.

Will you be purchasing for the first time or restocking?

If you’re in central London tomorrow, it’s well worth your while taking a pot of unloved face cream along for the ride.

If you want to get your hands on a free 15ml tube of the legendary Pro Collagen Marine Cream (worth £26.60), simply pop along to the new Elemis counter with your current face-cream and make the swap!

Deal Alert: Elemis GWP in May

Posted by Lipglossiping On April - 30 - 2012

Elemis fans, gather round – I have a great gift-with-purchase to tell you about occurring during May and it’s worth upto £89, yes really!

From the 10th – 27th May, the British brand are running a national GWP which will be available through their Debenhams, John Lewis and Harvey Nichols counters, and it goes something like this…

Buy any 2 full-size Elemis products and choose FOUR complimentary travel-sized Elemis fan-favourites from a selection of EIGHT.  Elemis travel-sized products are generally pretty generous on the sizing and I’m peering at that picture above to see what’s on the list!

Elemis Soothing Apricot Toner (50ml)
Elemis Tri-Enzyme Resurfacing Facial Wash (50ml)
Elemis Pro-Collagen Marine Cream (15ml)
Elemis Pro-Collagen Lifting Treatment (15ml)
Elemis Pr0-Collagen Quartz Lift Serum (10ml)
Elemis Tranquil Touch Creamy Body Wash (100ml)
Elemis Pro-Collagen Body Cream (50ml)
Elemis Quiet Mind Relaxing Bath Elixir (100ml)

You also get the grey cotton cosmetic bag to go with it.

If you’re not sure which products you should choose from the eight on offer, the therapists on counter have been briefed to offer some tailored guidance over which would suit your skin type.  If it were me?  I’d totes hit up the best bang for my buck ‘cos I’m mercenary like that and plump for the pro-collagen range.

Which four products would you choose?

Deal Alert: Cult Beauty D.J.V. Beautenizer Fiberwig LX Mascara GWP

Posted by Lipglossiping On April - 28 - 2012

Starting tomorrow morning and lasting for 48hrs only, receive a free D.J.V. Beautenizer Fiberwig LX Mascara (worth £18) with any CultBeauty order over £40.  Perhaps now’s the time to plump for the Face Atelier Ultra Foundation I talked about the other week?  Or… how about this 3 Custom Color Century in Red Lip Palette that has a permanent place on the Lipglossiping wishlist (alter-ego, can’t blame myself for these wishlists).

Whatever you choose, the D.J.V. Beautenizer Fiberwig LX Mascara has a cult following and even got me rightly told off by die-hard fans when I reviewed it without reading the instructions properly!

The offer ends at midnight on Monday, so be quick!

Deal Alert: This Works Perfect Skin Defense SPF30 GWP (worth £30!)

Posted by Lipglossiping On April - 27 - 2012

The Perfect Skin Defense SPF30 is one of those all-in-one Summer solutions which combines broad-spectrum sun protection, a good smattering of anti-oxidants and a subtle tint for those who favour the natural look when the weather warms up.  It sounds like the perfect product to pack for holidays!

Do you have a favourite all-in-one skin solution?
