I don’t own anything else like this shade. Nails Inc. Battersea Park is a true hybrid. It’s a cross between army greens and olive, and it really does apply differently on the nails to how it looks in the bottle (I prefer it applied).
1st coat is very nearly opaque, but if you hold your hand to the light, it looks a little uneven in patches… so for me, is a firm 2-coater. Application is smooth with no dragging at the cuticles. I do love these slightly murky creme finishes, they don’t feel very spring-like (I’m still craving some Barielle’s for that. HURRY UP BARIELLE!) but I’m loving them nonetheless.
What are your favourite greens? Forest? Olive? Shimmer? Pea Soup? Emerald? – Come on, spill… I need some more green in my life.
Looks pea-soup-ish in the bottle, but such a pretty olive on the nails!
Oh I really don’t like that at all. I’m not a fan of anything green really so there would have to be a hostage situation for me to wear something that was!

That looks so much better on than it does in the bottle! I’m a big fan of mint green at the minute. Nice and bright and ready for spring! 🙂
It looks gorgeous on your nails, horrible in the bottle XD I would personally never wear a green like this, I’m more a fan of emeralds, neons and minty colours.

I love Nails inc Grosvenor Gardens. Looks quite bright in the bottle but dries to a darker shade (lighter than Battersea though.)
There’s a bright green car I…..ooh…goes off to find a picture and enters the Illamasqua competition…..comes back…I’ve seen that I really want a nail varnish in 😀
I tend to shy away from greens, only because they make my hands look more blotchy and red. I do however, like greenish yellow shimmer/glitter to put over top black. And I like greenish glitters in black bases so it’s not *so* green. This color looks great on you. And totally different from the pea soup in the bottle!
Hmmmm not crazy for that one. You know my thoughts on Nails Inc application too.
I can’t do mint green as it turns my hands red, but I like emeralds and the ones that lean closer to teal.

Ooohhh I think I’m in loooove! I’m a fan of greens though I get tired of the so-dark-it’s-black greens and the sparkly-emerald-like-all-the-others greens. I’m a huge fan of not your average and dirty colors. This is a green right up my alley!

Wow, that si so different to any other green polish! I think it would look terrible against the skintone of my hands, but on lovely pale unblemished hands ( sooo not mine) it’d look beautiful. I guess as far as fave greens go, i’d say bottle green without shimmer.
